About the position

The System Integration Test Engineer will join the Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems (WTE) Engineering team at Apple, focusing on driving quality and performance improvements in cellular baseband products. This hands-on role involves crafting efficient and scalable development/testing infrastructure and tools, requiring a deep technical understanding of software, hardware, and test environments. The engineer will work collaboratively with developers and test engineers, impacting the user experience of millions of customers through innovative solutions and performance enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality and performance improvements in cellular baseband products.
• Craft efficient, robust, and scalable development/testing infrastructure and tools.
• Research, develop, and pursue issues related to system integration.
• Collaborate with teams of developers and test engineers across the organization.
• Track and communicate work related to release readiness and identify gaps.
• Assess new and innovative ways to improve product quality and performance.
• Evangelize performance and architecture standard methodologies throughout the engineering team.
