About the position

The System Integration and Test Lead Engineer will oversee the integration and testing of complex wireless systems within the company. This role involves leading a team of engineers, creating and reviewing test plans, analyzing test logs, and collaborating across various engineering disciplines to ensure the successful deployment of end-to-end systems. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of system integration and test engineers on complex wireless systems
• Creating and reviewing test plans/procedures
• Analyzing logs created during testing
• Conducting system analysis of failures to support root cause investigations
• Defining and identifying software tools to automate testing and analysis
• Defining simulators to support end-to-end testing
• Writing detailed test reports
• Collaborating across disciplines including hardware, software, firmware engineers, and product managers
• Building an in-house team and utilizing contractors extensively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
• Master's Degree preferred
• 10 years of relevant experience required
• Experience leading a team of system integration and test engineers on complex wireless systems
• Experience creating and reviewing test plans/procedures
• Experience analyzing logs created during testing
• Experience conducting system analysis of failures to support root cause investigations
• Experience defining and identifying software tools to automate testing and analysis
• Experience defining simulators to support end-to-end testing
• Experience writing detailed test reports
• Ability to work across disciplines including hardware, software, firmware engineers, and product managers.
