About the position

The System Integrator at SOLV Energy plays a crucial role in supporting the integration of remote data systems into the Operations and Control Center. This position is essential for ensuring that the data systems function seamlessly within the company's infrastructure, particularly in the context of solar energy projects. The System Integrator will be responsible for both the implementation and ongoing maintenance of these data system integrations, which are vital for the effective operation of solar energy systems across North America. In this role, the System Integrator will support project integrations for the enterprise SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) platform, which is critical for monitoring and controlling solar energy production. The position involves providing ongoing administrative support for the data platform, ensuring that remote systems are functioning optimally. Additionally, the System Integrator will manage installations of data acquisition systems (DAS) on both new and existing photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, documenting equipment and functionality related to the solar plant communications network. The role requires technical support for network and equipment configurations, as well as coordination with customers and field technicians for on-site commissioning and installation support. The System Integrator will also contribute to the design and requirements for PV solar site networks and SCADA solutions, ensuring that customer feedback is integrated into the development process. Troubleshooting complex site monitoring systems using diagnostic utilities is a key responsibility, along with delivering service and support to end-users through various third-party software monitoring applications. Regular project status reports will be provided to the SOLV Energy management team to keep them informed of progress and any issues that arise.
