About the position

The Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Project Manager for IT Infrastructure at CommonSpirit Health is responsible for overseeing the management of IT infrastructure design and construction projects. This role involves facilitating capital project planning, ensuring effective utilization of the Dignity Health Preferred Provider Network, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including hospital teams and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management for IT Infrastructure design and construction projects.
• Facilitates capital project planning and design activities.
• Coordinates area capital plans with facilities and ensures effective utilization of the Preferred Provider Network.
• Implements Dignity Health Project Delivery Model guidelines and tools.
• Maintains relationships with authorities having jurisdiction and ensures compliance with regulations.
• Prepares project scope and budgets, and monitors project expenses.
• Drafts RFPs and selects providers for capital projects.
• Establishes and enforces project communication policies and guidelines.
• Develops periodic project status reports for the Area Director.

Requirements

• Significant experience (5+ years) in IT Infrastructure project management in a hospital environment.
• Strong project management background with a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure implementation in operational hospitals.
• Excellent working knowledge of project budgets and control.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, and drawings.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Information Technology, or Construction Management.
