About the position

The System Reliability Support Lead at PNC is responsible for ensuring the stability and compliance of systems and software within the Technology organization. This role involves monitoring, maintaining, and modernizing systems, as well as leading incident detection and resolution efforts. The position requires collaboration with delivery teams to implement changes and educate junior staff on supported systems. The role is primarily office-based but may allow for some remote work at the manager's discretion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the monitoring, maintenance, support, and modernization of systems and software.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including installation of patches and upgrades.
• Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented for a stable production environment.
• Detect, resolve, and escalate incidents; analyze and identify root causes of incidents.
• Monitor systems availability, performance, and capacity against baseline metrics and report trends.
• Implement methods and techniques for monitoring software reliability and resolving incidents.
• Educate and coach junior staff on supported systems and applications.
• Lead application governance, including attestations, continuity testing, and compliance with technology standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge of application maintenance and IT service management.
