About the position
The System Services Representative at IBM serves as the primary technical interface for clients, coordinating hardware and software support and delivering operational services. This role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of IBM and multi-vendor systems in a data center environment, ensuring high client satisfaction and effective problem resolution during critical situations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate hardware and software support for clients.
- Deliver operational services as required by the client.
- Advise clients on preventive maintenance and configuration.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction with service delivery.
- Manage critical situations until resolved.
- Perform systems assurance and problem determination activities.
- Local travel in the assigned territory to support client needs.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Technical knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in a technical role
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills

- Experience in hardware support of IBM and/or OEM Servers
