About the position

The System Software Administrator at Robert Half is responsible for managing and maintaining business systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role involves user account management, system configuration, troubleshooting, and mentoring team members. The administrator will also ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Create and update user accounts, profiles, passwords, and permissions.
  • Maintain current training using classes/seminars provided by vendor or 3rd party.
  • Configure, update, and test features and functionality of business systems.
  • Monitor system performance and integrity.
  • Troubleshoot user issues.
  • Automate tasks where possible and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Mentor team members on system design & support considerations.
  • Create, oversee, and test security measures such as access authentication and disaster recovery.
  • Communicate with users when needed.
  • Maintain process documentation.
  • Follow company policies, regulatory standards (HIPAA), and industry best practices for handling Personally Identifying Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI).
  • Update Agent hierarchy in VUE Agency Management.
  • Set up new carriers for onboarding in VUE.
  • Work with CSSI/VUE to troubleshoot user issues and act as support liaison.
  • Collaborate with VUE and IT team to create and test data integrations, configure awards & promotions, and reports.
  • Provide IT backup support for Zoom, MS Office 365, printers, scanners, door card readers, and subscription services.

Requirements

  • Experience with VUE Agency Management system.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for handling PII and PHI.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for user issues.
  • Ability to configure and test business systems and integrations.
  • Experience in mentoring and training team members.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with teleconferencing and collaboration tools like Zoom.
  • Experience with subscription services such as Adobe, Dropbox, Slack, and WuFoo.
