About the position
The System Solution Architect, High Performance Computing (HPC) AI Racks is a vital member of the Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) AC Power Team, focusing on early engagement phases with major industry-leading customers. This role requires expertise in HPC (AI) and OCP rack designs as part of a comprehensive Dynamic Power solution. The architect will develop solutions and reference designs for evolving technologies, including liquid and air-cooled loads, power and data bussing, and mechanical considerations for liquid cooling within racks. The position blends mechanical, thermal, and electrical engineering skills to address complex customer challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for documentation and customer presentations.
- Develop design options for Dynamic Power HPC (AI) rack architectures based on customer requirements.
- Produce technical proposals, design documentation, and project proposals for customer delivery.
- Design and architect solution-based projects incorporating third-party components.
- Lead customer presentations and project delivery, overseeing costing, scheduling, and logistics.
- Create, control, review, and approve technical solutions and customer proposals.
- Interact with customers to translate concepts into solutions and document specifications.
- Provide feedback on product needs for improvements and new solutions.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of work experience in data center design and applications.
- 3 years of experience in creating and approving technical solutions related to data center design.
- Proficient in providing technical support for IT and Telecom solutions.
- Strong organizational, time management, and customer interaction skills.
- Working knowledge of IT and Telecom industry applications for infrastructure deployment.
- Solution-based thinking incorporating mechanical, thermal, electrical, and engineering competencies.
- Practical experience with HPC and OCP rack designs is beneficial.
