About the position

The System Support Analyst position at the University of Missouri involves providing comprehensive end-user hardware and software support, troubleshooting network issues, and offering specialized application support. Responsibilities

• Provide end user hardware device support for PC, Mac, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and upgrade end user software and maintain device hardware and operating systems.
• Consult with end users to analyze their technological requirements.
• Investigate and resolve LAN systems problems and troubleshoot network-related issues.
• Provide specialized support for University-supported email applications and second-tier support on approved software.
• Train faculty, staff, and students in the use of operating systems and supported software.
• Create, plan, test, implement, and document projects to better serve users' needs.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of new products, upgrades, and technologies.
• Collaborate with team members and other support groups to maintain division-wide continuity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience supporting computer device hardware, software, and operating systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Macintosh support experience is required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and maneuver 50 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
• Familiarity with computer management systems such as Configuration Manager and JAMF.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience in an Enterprise level IT environment.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
