About the position

The NACS Technology Systems Support position focuses on cybersecurity and business continuity within the Northwest Allen County Schools. The role involves maintaining and reviewing cybersecurity protocols, managing cyber-protection software, and ensuring compliance with security measures. The position also includes training staff and students on cybersecurity awareness and supporting the district's data recovery and backup processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and maintain district cybersecurity and network security protocols.
• Monitor district access and data logs, including Google and Microsoft.
• Facilitate district's phishing security training and develop training modules.
• Manage and provide direct support for cyber-protection software.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for multi-factor authentication support.
• Support and implement protocols from cyber-incident response and business continuity documentation.
• Manage server backup processes and conduct routine data recovery testing.
• Support district print management and deployment needs.
• Maintain organized documentation for processes related to the position.
• Abide by all district policies and respect confidential information.

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity and network security protocols.
• Familiarity with cyber-protection software such as Crowdstrike, ThreatLocker, and Huntress Labs.
• Ability to develop training content for cybersecurity awareness.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for training and support.
