About the position

The System Support Representative II (SSR) at HX5, LLC is responsible for maintaining hardware and software configuration management, supporting mission planning applications, and ensuring the functionality of mission planning equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving system issues, as well as traveling to various locations to establish operational systems. The position requires effective communication with team members and clients, and it supports critical operations for the Global Hawk program at Grand Forks Air Force Base.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hardware/software configuration management and control of mission planning spectrum applications.
• Install MPE upgrades and assist in the disposition of equipment.
• Define, implement, and maintain procedures for loading new or updated mission planning data.
• Analyze software, hardware, and system problems to provide identification, duplication, testing, resolution, and tracking until resolved.
• Set up, configure, and ensure proper functionality of MPE in support of exercises, training missions, deployments, and contingencies.
• Travel to worldwide locations to establish operational mission planning systems with minimal SSR support.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and client personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or five (5) years of relevant work experience may be substituted for degree.
• Minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II Certification within 6 months from date of hire.
