The position involves maintaining, servicing, and repairing hybrid fiber coaxial (HFC) broadband communication networks and components. The role requires performing all tasks in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring compliance with various standards. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing issues within HFC networks, testing and adjusting components, and performing maintenance on network power supplies. Additional responsibilities include splicing fiber optic cables, assisting in training activities, and participating in an on-call rotation.
