About The Position

Auria is seeking a System Test Engineer (Test Support SME) to support the Missile Defense National Team for the C2BMC program. This role involves planning and implementing testing of C2BMC and related BMDS software and hardware components, performing post-test data analysis, and reporting results to validate system-level requirements. The engineer will work collaboratively with a multi-contractor team to develop test objectives, write test plans, and present findings to management.

Requirements

• An active Top Secret clearance is required to start.
• 5 years' experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or a related field; 3 years' experience with a master's degree; or 9 years' experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with DoD test methodologies and terminologies, Missile Defense Agency elements or components, and associated test tools.
• Understanding of DoD and missile defense command and control, battle management, architectures and communications system concepts.
• Experience developing test objectives and related data analysis plans and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with operational systems (e.g., Aegis, Patriot) and developmental systems (e.g., GMD, THAAD).
• Familiarity with message formats (e.g., TADIL-J, VMF) and operational sites (e.g., STRATCOM).
• Experience with off-the-shelf statistical analysis packages (e.g., MATLAB or S+).

Responsibilities

• Support test and analysis activities for the C2BMC Architecture and System Engineering Global.
• Plan and implement testing of C2BMC and related BMDS software and hardware components.
• Perform post-test data analysis and reporting to validate and verify system-level requirements.
• Prepare test objectives and architectures, and support the writing of test and analysis plans/procedures.
• Develop and validate post-test analysis tools and perform detailed post-test data analysis.
• Prepare test reports and brief test results to contractor and government management levels.
• Participate in system test events, exercises, and wargames.
