About the position

BAE Systems is seeking a qualified candidate for a system administration role within the F-35 joint strike fighter foreign liaison office. The role involves supporting all Foreign Military Sales (FMS) servers, applications, and systems, ensuring they operate at peak performance levels. The successful candidate will manage updates to hardware and software, adhere to Information Assurance policies, and fulfill data center administration requirements according to ITIL standards.

Responsibilities

• Support all FMS FLO servers, applications, and systems across all networks.
• Manage updates to hardware and software for currency.
• Ensure all systems operate at peak performance levels.
• Adhere to Information Assurance policies and Configuration Management.
• Fulfill data center administration requirements regarding ITIL.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar IT role supporting systems administration (password & security).
• Experience with IT server applications and architecture.
• Experience with Microsoft, Sun, HP systems and applications.
• Must have an active secret security clearance.
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of or experience in ISSO or Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Experience with DoD approved anti-virus signature files.
• Experience in analysis and IT system optimization.
