About the position
The Systems Administrator role at SYSTOLIC involves implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems, specifically focusing on UNIX and Windows operating systems. The position requires a proactive approach to system operations, resource optimization, and problem resolution in a dynamic environment, supporting the Intelligence Community.
Responsibilities
- Configure, install, manage and troubleshoot UNIX and Windows operating systems and GOTS/COTS software.
- Support IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices.
- Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis.
- Troubleshoot software installations and operations with at least 5 years of experience.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document network connectivity and performance issues.
- Perform Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.
- Analyze and correct data flow issues within systems with at least 5 years of experience.
- Understand network diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot dataflow and computer system-related issues.
- Possess working knowledge of enterprise dataflow and Nifi.
- Be willing to work nights on a 24/7 shift work team and travel for training and site visits.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in systems administration.
- Technical bachelor's degree.
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
