About the position

The Systems Administrator/Analyst role is a junior level position focused on providing systems support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building servers in a production environment, utilizing VMware, performing physical server builds, and ensuring security for Exchange Online. This role requires a combination of technical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Build servers in a production environment using Windows.
• Utilize VMware for virtualization in production.
• Perform physical server builds and manage Exchange Online security.
• Configure and support Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS.
• Support and secure Microsoft Server Operating Systems and SQL Server.
• Work with network storage solutions such as SAN and NAS.
• Provide excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
• Adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Two years of server experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft Server Operating Systems (2012, 2016, 2019) and SQL Server (2012-2019).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware or Citrix).
• Experience with network storage (SAN, NAS).
• Excellent communication skills and customer-facing skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in PC troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow complex instructions accurately.
• Interest in identifying procedural gaps and optimizing workflows.
