About the position
The Systems Administrator (Senior/SME) position at Dutch Ridge Consulting Group, LLC (DRCG) involves supporting a federal customer's IT modernization goals. The role requires a highly motivated individual to manage both unclassified and classified systems, with a focus on Linux and Windows administration. The successful candidate will leverage their technical expertise to enhance the efficiency of IT environments and deliver new technologies to the workforce.
Responsibilities
- Support the modernization and transformation of IT environments for federal customers.
- Serve as a Senior/SME level System Administrator for unclassified and classified systems.
- Administer Linux and Windows operating systems, including RHEL 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x.
- Manage user accounts via Active Directory and Red Hat Identity Management.
- Assist in patching Linux servers and installation of Linux applications.
- Create and install Linux servers in Nutanix, AWS, and Azure environments.
- Conduct Linux server security hardening and troubleshooting.
- Prepare and provide SOP documents for new Linux tasks.
- Manage Redhat Linux Virtual Machines and perform monthly patching of Dev and Production VMs.
- Research and troubleshoot complex issues on Redhat Linux Servers.
Requirements
- Active/current Secret Clearance is required at the time of hire.
- 7+ years of relevant hands-on Systems Administration experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
- Senior level experience with Linux and Windows administration.
- Relevant certifications in Systems Administration.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
