About the position

The Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, configuring, and supporting the IT infrastructure of the client's organization, specifically focusing on servers, networks, and critical systems that support research and development efforts. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances, as it is a federal contractor position that operates in a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services for the development of intranet user interfaces for modifying/editing data in the database.
• Develop and integrate data-driven software applications, web-based applications, and user interfaces for a relational database, including design, coding, and testing.
• Assist with implementing industry and military best practices in website and online interfaces and applications, including security protocols.
• Assist with developing documentation required for operation and maintenance of each interface, such as standard operating procedures and data dictionaries.
• Evaluate and recommend software and equipment to optimize the efficiency of applications developed.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one to two (1-2) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Demonstrate experience in system architecture, system maintenance, system administration, .NET, Web Services, JavaScript, HTML, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Web User Interface Design, Security Principles, Object-Oriented Design, and/or Microsoft products for application/interface/database.
• Capable of obtaining and maintaining certification necessary to perform services in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M and AR 25-2.
