About The Position

The Systems Administrator role at SAIC involves maintaining and configuring computer systems and network servers for the TSSL team at Redstone Arsenal, ensuring reliable operation and integration of automation processes. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience, or an additional six (6) years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance; Active Secret Security Clearance preferred; US Citizenship required.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification and applicable operating systems certifications.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Server products.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Windows products.
• Prior experience with VMware/vSphere.
• Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory.
• Prior experience with Cisco network devices.
• Prior experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Prior experience with Dell Network Attached Storage (NAS) Devices.
• Prior experience with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating systems and networked devices.
• Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems and network servers.
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics and documenting problems and resolutions.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
