About the position

The Systems Analyst 2 position at Unisys is primarily focused on providing Tier 2 support for desktop hardware and deskside issues, as well as deskside software support. The role involves troubleshooting assigned Service Desk tickets to ensure resolution to client satisfaction. Candidates for this position should be self-motivated, flexible, and dependable team players who can adapt to varying work hours. The responsibilities include implementing and supporting communication solutions, setting up and maintaining AV equipment for various events, and performing onsite analysis and diagnosis of AV hardware problems. The role also requires collaboration with organizational policymakers to establish and enforce proper AV practices and procedures, ensuring high levels of customer service and technical execution under time and budget constraints. In addition to technical support, the Systems Analyst 2 will assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for future AV equipment and corporate technology needs. The position requires a general knowledge of desktop hardware and software, particularly Microsoft applications, and the ability to resolve basic technical problems. Experience with Crestron and other conference room equipment, as well as familiarity with the Service Now ticketing process, is essential. The role also involves supporting C-Suite management, troubleshooting smartphone and iPad setups, and maintaining inventory of AV and video services equipment. Candidates should be prepared to research and recommend technology developments to improve current audio-visual technology systems and support services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 support for desktop hardware and deskside issues.
  • Troubleshoot assigned Service Desk tickets to resolution.
  • Implement and support communication solutions for events.
  • Set up, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot AV equipment.
  • Perform onsite analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of AV hardware problems.
  • Monitor sound feeds to ensure quality during events.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and technical execution under constraints.
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies for AV equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with policymakers to enforce AV practices and procedures.
  • Support C-Suite management with technical needs.
  • Document and follow up on customer-related outages and incidents.
  • Maintain and track inventory of AV and video services equipment.
  • Research and recommend technology developments for AV systems.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate with a minimum of 3-5 years related experience for Level 2 Technicians.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience in Windows, MS Office, LAN, WAN, and basic networking protocols.
  • OEM certifications (Dell, Compaq, HP, etc.) and other relevant training.
  • Completion of CIR5 Core Training Desktop Support in a Municipality is a plus.
  • Ability to resolve basic/non-complex technical problems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Crestron and conference room equipment such as Teams Room and Zoom Room.
  • Familiarity with Service Now ticketing process.
  • Experience supporting smartphone and iPads for Outlook setup.
