About the position

As a Solution Architect, you will provide venue expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits for the Montgomery Cancer Center. This role involves guiding clients through current workflows, upgrades, system changes, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance. You will act as the primary consultant for the client's solution troubleshooting and knowledge transfer. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge, and engagement support while resolving escalated problems using your solution knowledge and expertise. In this position, you will be responsible for addressing client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance, and solution application. You will perform test script execution and participate in unit and integrated testing. You will work closely with Oracle's internal business and development teams to drive the technical and functional global implementation of Oracle's applications internally. Your main responsibilities will include managing all aspects of internal deployment projects, defining business specifications with the internal user community for the global deployment of the application, and mapping standard application functionality to global/local business specifications. You will also manage product gaps from business specifications to product enhancement and/or business process change, define product enhancements to drive solutions for all customers, and manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams. Additionally, you will define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications and manage user acceptance testing while providing technical support for implemented applications.

Responsibilities

  • Define product enhancements to drive solutions for all customers.
  • Manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams.
  • Define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and transfer of information to internal teams.
  • Provide technical support for implemented applications, diagnosing and reporting bugs, applying patches and upgrades as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education.
  • At least 1 year of Healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, or other client-facing IT solution work experience.
  • At least 5 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of health care information technology work experience.
  • At least 3 years experience with supporting and/or implementing Cerner solutions or other EHR systems.
  • Clinical or Nursing background.
