About the position
The Systems Analyst 3 position is a full-time role based in Phoenix, AZ, focused on troubleshooting and supporting existing software and systems for the Phoenix Police Department. The role requires interaction with various stakeholders, including law enforcement partners and third-party vendors, to ensure effective data exchanges and technical support for critical system changes and upgrades. Candidates must possess strong technical skills, particularly in Linux, T-SQL/SQL, and database development, with a preference for those with experience in law enforcement systems.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot existing software, configurations, and associated interfaces.
- Interact with internal and external customers, law enforcement agency partners, and third-party vendors.
- Provide support for data exchanges, including Open Data.
- Offer technical support for critical system changes, upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Support application and interfaces as a systems analyst.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in systems analysis and support.
- Experience in Linux, T-SQL/SQL, Message Queue (IBM MQ), and Shell scripting.
- Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting Law Enforcement Critical Systems and Interfaces.
- Database development experience, including writing SQL queries and stored procedures.

- Previous experience supporting and troubleshooting law enforcement systems and interfaces.
