St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Systems Analyst to join our Beacon Ambulatory team. Under minimal supervision, the Systems Analyst will review business requirements, analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed systems, and design and develop IT system solutions in response to those requirements. The role involves building, configuring, and programming applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated software applications and systems. The Systems Analyst will implement new software applications and systems, perform upgrades consistent with project plans, technical specifications, and operational requirements of the health system. This includes providing proactive remediation of potential issues that may arise during the implementation process. The analyst will also be responsible for testing and validating software applications and systems to ensure proper operation, implementation of software design, and end-user acceptance. In addition, the Systems Analyst will identify and diagnose issues that arise in the supported application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them. Assessing the severity of issues and prioritizing responses appropriately is a key part of this role. The analyst will ensure that documentation is provided for support, end-user training, and testing/validation, and may provide implementation support with end users. The role may also involve assisting in developing project plans and details, applying principles of Project Management, which may include project schedules, agile principles, budget, and status reports to accomplish project objectives. The Systems Analyst will follow established protocols in the execution of all activities to ensure the safety and security of information system assets, processes, and data. Possessing advanced knowledge of subject matter, the analyst will handle complex issues and problems across multiple platforms and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff. Additionally, the analyst will provide coaching and mentoring to others in acquiring knowledge and skill development, and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
