About the position

As a Systems Analyst at CGS, you will play a crucial role in setting up Oracle databases within a UNIX environment. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, troubleshooting, populating, maintaining, documenting, and training users on these systems. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of various systems environments, as specific project requirements may necessitate different technical skills. This role is considered a senior-level technical position, often the most senior-level technical role for all work associated with a particular Department of Justice (DOJ) component. You will need to demonstrate substantial, hands-on experience in the systems being utilized, typically requiring at least five years of such experience. A broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks and PC and server-based databases and applications, is essential. Experience in a litigation support environment is highly beneficial. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, as is the ability to lead a technical team and provide direction. You will also need to analyze the needs of attorneys and design and implement comprehensive system solutions that address those needs.

Responsibilities
