About the position

The Systems Analyst for Digital Operations at Chico's FAS, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and technical integrity of the company's digital platforms. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive operational, technical, and administrative testing support for Chico's FAS digital platforms, which include a wide array of e-commerce solutions. The analyst will collaborate closely with product managers, IT teams, and business partners to understand and clarify both business and technical requirements, ensuring that all digital operations align with the company's strategic goals. In this role, the Systems Analyst will develop, document, and maintain test cases and test data for all user acceptance testing (UAT). They will be tasked with executing manual testing of the e-commerce ecosystem, conducting root cause analysis, and recording results to identify and resolve defects. Additionally, the analyst will manage the A/B testing program, documenting regression testing scenarios and collaborating with partners to address any issues that arise. The position requires a proactive approach to monitoring customer feedback and identifying friction points, utilizing tools such as ContentSquare analytics and session replay to enhance the user experience. The Systems Analyst will also provide ad-hoc support for promotional and coupon testing, perform miscellaneous research, and assist with various projects as assigned. This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of quality and performance expected from Chico's FAS digital platforms, contributing to the overall success of the company's e-commerce initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with product managers, IT, and business partners to understand and clarify business and technical requirements.
  • Develop, document, and maintain test cases and test data for user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Execute manual testing of Chico's FAS e-commerce ecosystem, conduct root cause analysis, and record results.
  • Manage and execute manual testing of A/B test programs, identifying and documenting regression testing scenarios.
  • Report, monitor, and action issues/defects from identification through resolution using Jira and Zendesk tools.
  • Review weekly customer feedback to identify and escalate priority issues and customer friction patterns.
  • Work with product management and IT to create tickets and appropriately prioritize them.
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and prioritize customer friction points using ContentSquare analytics and session replay tools.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for promotion and coupon testing.
  • Perform miscellaneous research, operational duties, and assist with projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology, Digital Retailing, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, vertical retail, or specialty retail environment.
  • 2+ years of experience with quality assurance, A/B testing, or a testing-based role preferred.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with JIRA and Zendesk.
  • Experience in testing responsive site designs and mobile applications, with strong attention to detail in visual/UX testing.
  • Strong communication and partnering skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while keeping key stakeholders informed of product updates.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
