About the position

The Systems Analyst - General role at UST involves preparing detailed descriptions of user needs and program functions, analyzing computer systems capabilities, and designing documentation for computer systems or programs. This position requires mentoring software developers, providing technical training, and supporting system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT). The role is full-time, with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, and may involve travel or relocation within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, analyze and recommend technology and tools.
• Use independent judgment and discretion to analyze computer systems capabilities.
• Design and document computer systems or programs, including prototypes, flowcharts, and diagrams outlining system capabilities and processes.
• Mentor software developers to complete units of work assigned to them and monitor the output.
• Provide technical training to the project team.
• Interact with and communicate detailed technical requirements to the project development team.
• Perform/Support system testing and UAT testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Engineering, or related field.
• Two years of experience as a Systems Analyst - General or related occupation, including Global Delivery model experience.
• Ability to communicate complex, technical concepts to all levels.
