About the position

The Systems Analyst II, Student Success plays a crucial role in leading the development, implementation, and execution of Student Success & Enrollment Management (SSEM) CRM systems and other technology services. This position collaborates closely with the Information Technology Services department to ensure efficient operations and strategic initiatives, while also potentially supervising staff positions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support SSEM's technology systems, tools, and applications to ensure reliable usability, security, maintenance, and integrity.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain systems to ensure data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • Create and execute long-term plans for retention and graduation strategic communications.
  • Assist the Senior Director of Retention and Graduation Services with reports and dashboards for strategic student interventions.
  • Collaborate with Institutional Research to develop dashboards and reports for Retention and Graduation Services.
  • Implement the CRM system for enrolled students, ensuring project goals are met and integration with the student information system.
  • Document CRM and SSEM systems procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate technology solutions to maximize efficiency in Retention and Graduation Services operations.
  • Design, implement, and deliver CRM training to staff and consult with end-users to meet their needs.
  • Troubleshoot and triage technical issues, resolving or referring them to the IT team as needed.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for SSEM stakeholders regarding system-related needs.
  • Design, build, update, and maintain targeted student interventions to impact performance metrics and strategic plan KPIs.
  • Create resources and efficiencies for SSEM systems, including user training and process documentation.
  • Communicate changes in system functionality to leadership and staff promptly.

Requirements

  • Eight years of directly related full-time experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and four years of related experience.
  • Experience using CRM technology or other higher education systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
  • Two years of experience managing projects and improving operational efficiency.
  • Experience resolving technical issues with functional users and IT departments.
  • Experience in a higher education environment.
  • Experience with process analysis, development, planning, and implementation.
