About the position

The Systems Analyst II position is a remote contract role focused on the migration of data from Netsmart's myAvatar EHR to a new SaaS model EHR. The role involves developing and implementing migration strategies, ensuring compliance with standards, conducting testing and quality assurance, and providing post-migration support. The analyst will serve as a technical expert, facilitating communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the migration process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive migration strategies from myAvatar EHR to a new SaaS model EHR, including data assessment, cleansing, and mapping.
• Document all phases of the migration process and create detailed project documentation in line with client requirements.
• Design and implement workflows that integrate with the existing system to ensure a seamless transition.
• Ensure compliance with data management and security standards, establishing protocols for data integrity and privacy.
• Conduct rigorous testing of the migration process, including creating and executing unit test scripts and managing test scenarios.
• Provide regular updates on migration progress to project stakeholders and prepare presentations to explain the migration process and system functionality.
• Facilitate post-migration support, including training end-users and preparing comprehensive system documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in systems analysis and EHR systems.
• Proficient in Oracle and SQL.
