About the position

The Systems Analyst III position is a long-term contract role based in Augusta, GA, focusing on supporting Microsoft Power Platform Governance and analyzing business needs for application support. The role involves advanced technical services in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of complex application systems, ensuring that business objectives are met through effective system integration and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Researching and analyzing business needs, formulating and defining system scope and objectives.
  • Designing interfaces to connect and integrate systems to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Acting as a liaison between business partners and OIT to ensure business needs are met.
  • Evaluating, determining, and facilitating OIT policy adherence to internal and Vendor Hosted systems.
  • Supporting customers by monitoring Vendor Hosted systems to ensure compliance with contracted IT requirements.
  • Performing analysis and documentation of business and system interactions.
  • Designing technical solutions to business issues and collaborating with the Application Development team for implementation.
  • Participating in all phases of the SDLC, including Requirements Definition and Documentation, Systems Analysis and Design, Change Management Documentation, System Integration and User Acceptance Testing, and Project Timeline Estimation.
  • Participating in new projects.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze contractual requirements and work with vendors to provide deliverables.
  • Attention to detail and ability to interpret & translate technical requirements to the business and vendors.
  • Documentation of application status and actions needed for compliance.
  • Competency at the highest level in all phases of applications systems analysis and design activities.
  • Understanding of system design plans and detailed specifications to facilitate implementation of application systems.
