About the position

The Systems Analyst & Integrator - Junior Level position at Kratos Defense involves assisting the Senior Systems Analyst & Integrator in preparing documentation for the integration of tactical systems and simulations for government events. The role supports the Space and Missile Defense Command (SMDC) and requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful integration of system components. The position also involves travel to tactical field sites and requires knowledge of US Army Field Artillery and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Systems Analyst & Integrator with event documentation preparation for tactical systems integration.
• Provide input to the Project Leader and Task Manager during analysis activities.
• Support development, prototyping, and demonstration at various site locations.
• Assist with briefings on the status of events or program portions as requested.
• Ensure successful integration of system components and operational products for specified requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED with six years of relevant experience, a bachelor's degree with four years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with two years of relevant experience.
• Six or more years of experience integrating equipment and software for operational, testing, experimentation, or demonstration purposes.
• Extensive experience managing Army and Joint programs or large-scale events.
• Demonstrated understanding of Air and Missile Defense and/or Field Artillery tactical system operations.
• Deep understanding of MS Office products for planning, documentation, briefings, and reporting.
• Active DoD Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience planning, designing, implementing, and managing Link-16 networks and associated interfaces.
• Experience with DoD Modeling & Simulation (M&S).
