About the position

The Systems Analyst (Oracle Payroll) at Mayo Clinic is responsible for supporting the long-term goals of the Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST) through consultation, process improvement, and digital transformation. This role involves providing functional expertise on OAST software applications, evaluating business processes, and developing innovative solutions to improve processes using digital standards and technology. The analyst will maintain and optimize existing platforms, manage software installations, and resolve technical issues while ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support the long-term goals of the Office of Administrative System Transformation (OAST) through consultation and process improvement.
  • Provide functional expertise on OAST software applications and integrations.
  • Evaluate business processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop innovative solutions using digital standards and technology.
  • Maintain and optimize existing platforms and manage software installations.
  • Perform issue resolution, system maintenance, and implement leading practices.
  • Engage in testing of system enhancements and validate high-quality testing outcomes.
  • Create and maintain functional design documents for integrations and reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot systems software and technical issues and oversee resolutions.
  • Assist in redesigning systems and workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Healthcare, or Information Technology.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Customer-service oriented with timely responses to requests for service/information.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
  • Leadership skills and experience in systems analysis and design.
  • Knowledge of SQL and operating systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous systems and process flow knowledge within Supply Chain, Finance, and Human Resources.
  • Healthcare experience and broad knowledge of administrative systems.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management, process management, or engineering.
  • Experience with system workflow processes (LEAN and Six Sigma).
  • System certification (e.g., Oracle certification) preferred.
  • Experience supporting the Payroll Module in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
