About the position

As a Systems Analyst Senior at Greenheck Group, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation and support of Finance area solutions, specifically focusing on SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) within a manufacturing environment. This position requires significant experience in SAP FICO to provide guidance and insights to project team members and the business. You will be expected to have a well-rounded understanding of general accounting principles, cost accounting, financial accounting, and reporting. In addition to project-based initiatives, you will also handle day-to-day production support tasks, ensuring that the systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of analyst tasks across the Software Development Lifecycle. This includes eliciting and documenting requirements, designing configurations, creating master data, testing scenarios, and developing implementation plans. You will lead efforts to enhance existing solutions or create new ones for various financial processes, including Financial Accounting (FI), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Controlling (CO). Your ability to document business processes and develop training materials will be crucial in ensuring that users can effectively utilize the systems. Working in an Agile software-development environment, you will create and groom user stories, estimate tasks, and collaborate with other project teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. You will also be responsible for creating complex technical design specifications from functional requirements, which may include system use case diagrams and data flow diagrams. Your programming knowledge will be essential, as minimal interaction with programmers should be necessary during development. In addition to technical skills, strong interpersonal skills are vital for building relationships with coworkers and customers. You will be expected to effectively resolve conflicts, train others on complex tasks, and present ideas to both IT and business stakeholders. Your role will also involve providing ongoing system support and participating in SAP software upgrade projects, ensuring that the systems remain current and effective. Responsibilities

  • Perform all analyst tasks required across the Software Development Lifecycle, including eliciting and documenting requirements, designs configuration, creation of master data, testing scenarios, implementation plans, validation, data uploads, data analyses etc.
  • Lead efforts to make enhancements to or create new solutions for Financial Accounting (FI), Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), and Controlling (CO).
  • Document business processes and develop training documentation and content for software platforms.
  • Work in an Agile software-development environment, creating and grooming stories, estimating and committing to tasks within a sprint, and collaborating with other project teams.
  • Create moderately complex to complex technical design specifications from functional requirements, including system use case diagrams and data flow diagrams.
  • Manage projects, priority problem tickets, and troubleshooting within project work, meeting with business users and project leaders to discuss project plans and requirements.
  • Participate in SAP Software upgrade projects, including validation and remediation for support packs, implementation of OSS notes, and general version upgrades.
  • Provide ongoing system support and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6-8 years of business experience in IT and accounting or finance environment working with end-users to translate business requirements into system specifications.
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP ECC configuration experience in FICO and experience with at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects.
  • Thorough understanding of the integration with other SAP modules such as Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, Logistics, Plant Maintenance, and Payroll.
  • Good knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies, and tables.
  • Strong knowledge of how to configure and apply SAP software solutions to solve business requirements.
  • Experience in a highly configurable manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Working knowledge of Vertex Sales Tax Q Series is a plus.
  • Strong ability to analyze and quickly resolve problems in integrated ERP systems and/or systems with many interfaces.
  • Proven leadership, project coordination, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Conversant with SAP Business Warehouse, SAP Business Objects Suite (Webi, Analysis), and other business analytic tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Working experience with SAP Simple Finance, SAP BPC 10/10.1, BPC 11, and SAC is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Vertex Sales Tax Q Series is a plus.
