About the position

In this role, you will collaborate with Fidelity leaders to influence strategic decisions and manage product features within an agile framework. You will lead a team of chapter members, ensuring alignment on project timelines and priorities while fostering an innovative and iterative work environment. Your focus will be on enhancing team performance, driving agile practices, and delivering value through a data-driven approach to customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Fidelity leaders to influence strategic decisions and roadmaps.
  • Set and refine the mission for the team and execute specific product features.
  • Plan and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment on work timelines.
  • Enable team members to work iteratively and learn from both successes and failures.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads and Scrum Masters to enhance team capacity and capability.
  • Make informed trade-off decisions balancing quality, cost, and timelines.
  • Promote Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors to sustain an innovative culture.
  • Take a data-focused approach to understand customer needs and improve value delivery.
  • Lead and motivate colleagues without formal authority to build high-performing teams.
  • Continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, or Finance.
  • CFA/CFP designation or post-graduate degree in finance or a related field is a plus.
  • Financial services experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the Asset Management industry is preferred.
  • Ability to measure performance against established objectives.
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills with Technical Leads and Scrum Masters.
  • Capability to lead, influence, and motivate colleagues without formal authority.
  • Deep understanding of the industry landscape around quantitative research.

  • Experience with quantitative investing platforms.
