This position is located at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

Responsibilities

  • Perform research and analyze data in various systems to identify variances and implement necessary adjustments to data and processes.
  • Participate in testing of new system capabilities as part of process improvement teams
  • Work with the Maximo Data Base Administrator (DBA) to help perform root cause analysis, and then work with the appropriate technical teams to test, and implement process changes to prevent recurrence
  • Document processes for development of desk guides and training with flow charts and screen shots
  • Prepare reports and analyze data to generate metrics on inventory, contract deliverables, CFO reporting and other compliance requirements
  • Extract data into Excel and perform conditional formatting and comparisons of data to find errors and standardize records
  • Develop and maintain procedures and work instructions in accordance with applicable LISC Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Contract Deliverable (CDRL) requirements
  • Prepare and provide progress, status reports, and briefings as required or requested, to inform management of anticipated performance problems, issues, improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Work independently to solve problems in order to achieve project objectives.
  • Work effectively in a team and customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business or logistics related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with analyzing data and metrics
  • 2-3 years of experience in Air Force or DoD Logistics / Supply processes preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Nice-to-haves

  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License
