About the position

The role is required to provide front-line primary project support for Global Services for Quest and Proxima. This involves coordinating testing, releases, and collating requirements while actively working with the Proxima Team and Senior Leadership within Guest Services. The primary goal is to ensure the development and enhancements for both Quest and Proxima are executed effectively. The position requires a comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to implementation and support. In this role, you will work closely with the Proxima development team to ensure that all Global Guest Services requirements are identified, developed, tested, and implemented throughout the lifecycle of the Proxima launch. You will be responsible for mapping and documenting interfaces between legacy and new systems, ensuring that the transition is smooth and efficient. Collaboration with various departmental system application development teams is essential to accurately translate business requirements into functional specifications. Additionally, you will support the change request (CR) requirements for Global Guest Services projects, maintaining and prioritizing backlog items, including bug fixes and small enhancements. Regular priority meetings will be part of your responsibilities, where you will analyze workflow, understand business flow, and make recommendations for improvements. You will also support the implementation of new and efficient ways of translating business transactions in the system, evaluating requests from business units to determine current and future system capabilities, and recommending necessary changes while considering the global impact of those changes. Your role will also involve creating and following the change control process, ensuring proper methodology and implementation, which includes training, scripting, communication, and implementation. You will support testing efforts by ensuring that issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner. Debugging production-reported issues and suggesting manual workarounds within Proxima will be part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you will assist in resolving production issues, including troubleshooting application issues, and assess and analyze existing processes and data to identify improvement opportunities, presenting your findings to the Manager and Business Owners. Working with stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of small projects within Proxima and Quest will be crucial to your success in this role.
