The Systems Analyst position in Nashville, TN, is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 per year. The primary responsibility of the Systems Analyst is to work closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs. This involves interpreting projects and business requirements, evaluating various options, and collaborating with developers and architects to understand software limitations. The role requires examining existing and new business models and data flows, discussing findings with business owners, business analysts, and technical teams as necessary. In addition to these responsibilities, the Systems Analyst will assist in designing efficient and cost-effective solutions and contribute to the design and migration to new platforms. A key part of the role involves writing and refining user stories that translate business requirements into actionable tasks for developers and quality assurance teams. The analyst will also provide supporting artifacts such as wireframes and data flows. The position requires the creation of technical user stories, contributing to user manuals, and delivering mined data models with entities and attributes used by existing systems. The analyst will be responsible for data migration mapping and delivering both functional and non-functional requirements, including business rules. Additionally, the role involves creating wireframes, storyboards, and workflow models to support the development process.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with management to prioritize business goals and information needs.
• Interpret project and business requirements, evaluating all options with developers/architects.
• Examine existing/new business models and flows of data, discussing findings with business owners and technical teams.
• Assist in designing efficient and cost-effective solutions and migration to new platforms.
• Write/refine user stories that translate business requirements into consumable work for developers and QA.
• Provide artifacts such as wireframes and data flows to support development efforts.
• Create technical user stories and contribute to user manuals.
• Deliver mined data models with entities and attributes used by existing systems.
• Create appropriate data dictionaries and manage data migration mapping.
• Deliver both functional and non-functional requirements, including business rules.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, and workflow models.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of web development and/or system analysis experience.
• Two (2) years of experience in agile/scrum teams.
• Knowledge of data analysis using SQL, ER diagrams, and other tools.
• Demonstrated experience in quickly learning new technologies.
• Experience mocking up user interface requirements using prototyping.
