About the position

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in the development and deployment of an inventory system for our portal application. This position requires a deep understanding of client requirements, as you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and creating specifications for computer systems and networks tailored to meet those needs. Your expertise will be essential in designing and developing systems and networks that align with these specifications, ensuring that they are robust and efficient. In addition to development, you will be tasked with configuring, testing, and debugging the systems to ensure they function correctly and meet performance standards. Ongoing maintenance and upgrades will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that the systems remain up-to-date and continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients. You will be expected to write stored procedures and SQL queries, review code, and enhance software solutions from development through to production, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Your role will also involve utilizing a variety of software tools, programming languages, and database skills. Proficiency in C, C++, Unix, Java, SQL, Windows NT, Developer/2000, and Oracle applications in different versions, as well as SQR and other relevant tools, will be critical to your success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • 5 years of IT-related experience.
