About the position

The position involves supporting the Air Force Futures Decision Support Function, which plays a critical role in assessing, managing, and modifying future concepts. This includes evaluating the risks associated with these concepts as they integrate with existing and other conceptual platforms and systems. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their expertise in operations research and technical fields to provide insights and recommendations that will influence decision-making processes. The role requires a deep understanding of mathematical modeling, risk assessment, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in collaborative efforts with various teams to ensure that future concepts are viable and aligned with strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the Air Force Futures Decision Support Function in assessing future concepts.
• Manage and modify future concepts based on evaluations and assessments.
• Evaluate risks associated with future concepts and their integration with existing systems.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment of future concepts with strategic objectives.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in mathematics, operations research, or a technical field.
• Seven (7) years of experience in operations research or a technical field.
• TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.

Nice-to-haves

• A Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
