About the position

The Systems Analyst at Macquarie AirFinance plays a crucial role in the Financial Systems team, focusing on automation and improvement of business processes within financial systems. This position requires a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who can collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders to enhance system integrations and financial applications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance testing of application releases and new features to ensure that requirements are met.
  • Collect and understand business issues and requirements from users, writing detailed descriptions of user needs.
  • Identify and analyze solutions, coordinating development, testing, and output to ensure requirements are met.
  • Participate in and support user acceptance testing and deployment of solutions to production.
  • Provide application support to end users, including answering technical questions and troubleshooting issues.
  • Assist with process improvements and automate manual processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Enhance existing business processes and systems, including designing and integrating new systems.
  • Collaborate with the team to assess business problems and identify actionable opportunities for improvement.
  • Support multiple integrations including configurations, conversions, and change management.
  • Understand integration points and analyze impacts with other systems that interface with the applications.
  • Work with application support teams to resolve system production issues.
  • Maintain and manage the vendor master listing.
  • Assist with data cleanup, consolidation, and automation setup.
  • Own problems to completion and develop solutions towards resolving incidents.
  • Handle adhoc project work and requests as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge in and experience with Oracle NetSuite and Workato is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues in terms understood by internal customers and external support teams.
  • Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Versatility and flexibility to work within changing priorities.

Nice-to-haves
