About the position

We are seeking a Boomi Systems Administrator/Analyst in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Systems Analyst/Admin, your primary focus will be on implementing and maintaining software solutions, ensuring the optimal configuration and deployment of a new Boomi Molecule. You will also be responsible for analyzing business systems and procedures, creating technical documentation, and communicating with various levels of the organization. In this position, you will lead the implementation of a new Boomi Molecule, focusing on optimal configuration and deployment. You will design, develop, implement, and maintain software solutions that integrate various applications or systems. Analyzing business systems and procedures to produce comprehensive solutions design will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will collaborate closely with internal end users, business analysts, and enterprise architects to create clear functional and technical specifications. Additionally, you will develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshoot implementation issues, and review existing processes to recommend changes and design elements to improve performance and reliability. Regular communication with all levels of the organization will be essential to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of user and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of a new Boomi Molecule, focusing on optimal configuration and deployment.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain software solutions that integrate various applications or systems.
  • Analyze business systems and procedures to produce comprehensive solutions design.
  • Collaborate closely with internal end users, business analysts, and enterprise architects to create clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot implementation issues.
  • Review existing processes and recommend changes and design elements to the integrations to improve performance and reliability.
  • Regularly communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of user and business needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of integration development experience, preferably in a SOA environment
  • 3+ years of Boomi experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience providing end-to-end integration solutions development for enterprise software
  • Demonstrated experience in Database management and Oracle is essential
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion is strongly desired
  • Proficiency in Java required
  • Strong SQL skills are required
  • Must have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
