Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, is seeking a Systems Analyst for multiple openings in Highlands Ranch, CO. The successful candidate will serve as the initial escalation point for Service Desk Tier 1 for application issues, ensuring that all application-related problems are addressed promptly and effectively. This role involves performing routine application maintenance, which includes tasks such as host file updates, log rotation, and shell scripting for common tasks. The Systems Analyst will also contribute valuable information to project plans and is expected to meet stated deadlines consistently. In addition to maintenance tasks, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for composing clear documentation and reports, preparing PowerPoint slides, and delivering informational presentations. The role requires maintaining and updating third-party applications, including Docker, Kubernetes, Tomcat, and WAS. Monitoring application performance is a critical aspect of this position, where the analyst will track metrics such as memory usage, logging, and latency to ensure optimal application functionality. The Systems Analyst will execute weekly code deployments to the Production environment and implement and maintain performance monitoring dashboards using industry-standard tools like Splunk, Thousand Eyes, and Graphite. This position also involves executing Problem Management for Applications, coordinating code releases into CAS (test) and PROD environments while collaborating with Product Development using industry-standard tools. Furthermore, the analyst will support application deployment for new and existing services or features, working closely with various groups, including Product Development and Engineering. They will also assist Customer Support with merchant escalated issues specific to applications, such as increased latency. This position reports to the Employer's Highlands Ranch, Colorado office and may allow for partial telecommuting, with a hybrid work model expected.
