About the position

The Systems Architect Level 4 position at Cherokee Federal involves providing expert support and analysis in complex problems related to Information Assurance and International Network security for the Defense Intelligence Agency. The role requires a high level of technical expertise in Cybersecurity, Information Systems Architecture, and Security Engineering, along with the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure security tasks meet customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support, analysis, research, and advice into exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to Information Assurance and International Network security.
• Serve as a technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.
• Act as a security consultant for projects dealing with International Intelligence networks and Information Assurance processes.
• Coordinate with contract management and Government personnel to ensure Security Tasks are properly defined and solutions satisfy customer needs and Information Assurance Requirements.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following: High School Diploma or GED and 16 years of relevant experience; Associate's degree and 14 years of relevant experience; Bachelor's degree and 12 years of relevant experience; Master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; PhD and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible information assurance experience in ICD 503 assessment and authorization.
• Current CISSP certification.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of public key infrastructure and encryption systems.
• Knowledge of ICD 503 and Risk Management Framework (RMF), Joint Force After Next (JFAN).
• Understanding of classified IT network systems, terminology, and SDLC.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
