About the position

The Mid-Level Systems Architect at SHR Consulting Group is responsible for designing and implementing complex IT systems and solutions. This role involves analyzing system requirements, creating architectural designs, and ensuring that systems are integrated and aligned with business objectives, particularly in support of military and intelligence community customers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess software development or data acquisition requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.
• Support and work with a hybrid team of analysts, engineers, and developers to conduct research, and build and deploy complex analytical capabilities.
• Collaborate with data scientists, UX designers, cognitive scientists, developers, and testers to create cohesive designs for scalable solutions.
• Optimize software designs and architectures to meet performance targets and develop methodologies to capture performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 7-10 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of experience.
• Significant experience in one or more scripting languages such as Python or R.
• Proficient in one or more big data programming languages, such as Python or Java.
• Experience with AI/ML model development, containerization, and productization.
• Knowledge Graph construction and reasoning experience, including property graph or RDF model frameworks.
• Experience performing research in Data Analytics or Big Data.
• Experience supporting cyber security or network security operations.

Nice-to-haves

• Sec+ certification preferred.
• TOGAF certification preferred.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
