About the position
The Systems Architect for ServiceNow at Kohler Co. will lead a team in the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow programs, specifically focusing on HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions. This role aims to enhance business effectiveness, solve problems, and create opportunities that align with business goals. The architect will collaborate with various stakeholders, manage projects, and ensure compliance with best practices and standards in the ServiceNow environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Oversee the management and configuration of the ServiceNow HRSD module, including Case and Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, and Lifecycle Events.
- Provide leadership for systems projects, challenging obsolete practices and eliminating non-value-added processes.
- Control project scope, resources, and quality within budget and schedule to meet objectives.
- Prepare and conduct project review meetings, including design reviews and management presentations.
- Collaborate with HR and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Lead the implementation of HRSD solutions, ensuring integration with other ServiceNow modules and external systems.
- Customize and configure the HRSD module to meet specific organizational needs, including developing custom applications and workflows.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize HRSD solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Establish and enforce best practices for the development and deployment of HRSD solutions, including governance and compliance standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between HR, IT, and ServiceNow teams, ensuring clear communication on project goals.
- Provide training and support to HR and IT teams on HRSD solutions and create comprehensive documentation for solutions and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform, including at least 3 years focused on HRSD.
- Proven experience in architecting and implementing HRSD solutions within large organizations.
- Understanding of HR processes and how they can be optimized through technology.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow HRSD module, including Case and Knowledge Management, Employee Service Center, and Lifecycle Events.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, including scripting, integrations, and custom applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
