About the position

Castalia Systems is seeking a Systems Architect to provide enterprise architecture support for the DOD USA INDOPACOM ITS2 Project. This role is crucial for guiding the strategic architectural direction in alignment with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), ensuring effective information sharing, collaboration, and interoperability within various business models.

Responsibilities

• Offer subject matter expertise to plan and coordinate future capabilities for information sharing and collaboration.
• Analyze use cases and deliver architecture artifacts and recommendations to support operations and plans.
• Produce DoDAF products that create enterprise architecture models and reports, focusing on Information Assurance (IA) and Cybersecurity.
• Develop and maintain architecture Implementation Plans that support technical, operational, and governance requirements.
• Analyze alternatives and provide recommendations based on emergent technologies to enhance C4 architecture within the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Compile and deliver a Monthly Status Report (MSR) detailing accomplishments, task issues, and necessary actions for alignment with USINDOPACOM strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum active/current Secret Clearance
• Must possess ONE of the following 8570 IAM-I certifications: CAP, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, Cloud+, GSLC
• At least 3 years of experience with geographical combatant command(s) or similar theater-wide architecture
• Experience with IT project management and architecture development (i.e. DoDAF) in a DoD environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Nice-to-haves

• TS/SCI clearance eligible
• Hands-on experience with Cameo and development of architecture artifacts
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Visio
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Tableau and data visualizations
