About the position

The Systems/Cloud Engineer at TEKsystems Global Services is responsible for creating and implementing cloud-based solutions tailored to business needs and customer requirements. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure effective solutions are provided, focusing on security and continuous improvement in cloud infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement cloud-based solutions such as IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS based on business needs and customer requirements.
• Extract customer requirements and work with end users/customers.
• Partner with various departments such as application development, enterprise operations, security, and risk management to provide solutions.
• Assist with disaster recovery solutions and continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor systems and backup solutions.
• Assist customers with technical issues.
• Implement enterprise cloud infrastructure and applications monitoring solutions.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of experience working in AWS.
• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud is helpful.
• Focus on security; any security certification is beneficial.
• Experience with IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
• Knowledge of Active Directory.
• Experience working in medium to large data center environments.
• Familiarity with Server 2019 and Server 2022.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of virtualization technology.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, and firewalls).
