About the position

The Systems Architect role at DGS focuses on enhancing RF awareness capabilities through the design and implementation of systems that align with customer goals. This position requires a deep understanding of hardware, software, and data systems to ensure effective product development and solutions delivery, particularly in the context of 5G technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and articulate the concept of operations, ensuring a deep understanding of system objectives and requirements.
• Clearly define and document system requirements based on project objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Conduct thorough analysis and engineering activities to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the system.
• Design and architect the overall system structure, considering schedule, cost, and technical restraints.
• Define and design interfaces with data architectures between system components for seamless integration.
• Develop and execute validation and verification processes to ensure systems meet specified requirements.
• Oversee and actively contribute to systems integration efforts, ensuring the seamless operation of all system components.
• Analyze and determine the physical configuration of system components.
• Provide information for the selection and implementation of techniques and tools to meet present and future capacity.
• Apply advanced technological principles, theories, and concepts to guide the development of innovative technologies and concepts.
• Act as an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
• Optimize the performance of 5G systems through system-level tuning, parameter optimization, and performance analysis to meet quality of service (QoS) requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for 5G systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry standards.
• Develop strategies and algorithms for mitigating interference in 5G networks, including techniques such as beamforming, power control, and spectrum management.
• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in 5G systems, assess their impact, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure system resilience and security.

Requirements

• Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge in hardware, software, and data architecture and engineering.
• Ability to think about the big picture and efficiently execute design and architecture plans.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Extremely resourceful and relentless in completing tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of RF awareness technologies or background in LTE, Wireless, or similar field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with and designing systems for emerging technologies and capabilities.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
• In-depth knowledge of 5G standards, including 3GPP specifications, radio access network (RAN) architecture, and core network components.
