Responsibilities
- Conduct technical investigations on issues identified during engineering activities, including root cause analysis and risk assessment.
- Review various engineering documentation to ensure consistency with specifications and guidance.
- Develop and revise system engineering documentation, including specifications and operational guidelines.
- Model, process, and analyze test and operational data to assess system performance and compliance with requirements.
- Lead reliability, maintainability, and availability assessments in accordance with test objectives.
- Perform configuration management tracking of software and hardware configuration items.
- Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) to ensure compliance with engineering changes.
- Conduct Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) of software programs and firmware to verify compliance with requirements.
- Evaluate program schedules, cost data, and risk analysis to provide system engineering assessments.
Requirements
- Secret Clearance
- 10 years of experience in systems engineering
- Experience with naval undersea warfare technologies
- Experience in a leadership role in various systems engineering functions
