About the position

The Systems Engineer - Cloud Technologies role at Acclaim Technical Services involves the automated provisioning of physical and AWS servers, utilizing ServiceNow and other cloud service providers like Azure and Google Cloud. The position requires extensive scripting knowledge and experience in cloud technologies, focusing on providing analytical and technical support for cloud services. The successful candidate will work within the Mission Technology Division, contributing to system automation and the development of web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Automated provisioning of physical and AWS servers using ServiceNow.
• Recommend cloud solutions based on customer/system requirements.
• Provide analytical and technical support for cloud services installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Develop web-based user interfaces and implement web applications.
• Support system automation processes.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Minimum of eleven (11) years of related experience in cloud technologies (AWS, MS Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud).
• Deep understanding and experience in Linux.
• Experience developing ServiceNow applications.
• Extensive experience in JavaScript and Python.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with IT system automation including AI/ML.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform).
• Knowledge of Security Development Operations (SecDevOps).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of Agile development principles.
• Proficiency in modern software languages (e.g., Java, C, C++, C#, Perl).
