About the position

The Systems Engineer, Enterprise will collaborate closely with a Major Account Manager to support the sales organization in all technical aspects related to pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales activities. This role is crucial in ensuring that technical queries are addressed effectively, thereby facilitating successful sales processes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint during pre-sales.
  • Serve as the main technical resource on sales calls, educating customers and partners on features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
  • Act as the lead technical contact for identified accounts post-sales, addressing technical issues and collaborating with the technical support team and engineering.
  • Provide post-sales training assistance to identified customers.

Requirements

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Proven understanding of DNS, NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of technologies such as Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus.
  • Solid understanding of protocols including RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies is required.
  • Exceptional presentation skills.
